About Chichester FilmMakers C.I.C

Chichester Film Makers C.I.C  (based in Chichester, UK) is a non-profit organisation and exists to support film enthusiasts and professionals alike, to introduce the community to film making and the film industry, and to develop hands-on skills.  Our aim is to bring together like-minded individuals who are passionate about film-making and support them in producing projects in and around the city of Chichester, East & West Sussex, and Hampshire.

What is a CIC?     A Community Interest Company (CIC) is a type of limited company that's designed to benefit the community, rather than private shareholders. CICs are a popular option for social enterprises and other organizations that want to use their profits to benefit the community

  • Chichester Filmmakers C.I.C is officially awarded C.I.C status by the UK Government's HMRC on 1st October 2024.

  • Chichester Film Makers acquires .org.uk domain to support it's new C.I.C status.  E-mail and websites will continue to be hosted on .studio and the new .org.uk domain.

  • UK Government announces new tax incentives for UK film industry.
