Final Truth — The Next Chapter
2026–2027 Production Fund
To date, Final Truth's 2025–2026 production budget of £5,800 has been funded principally through the generous donations of the founders of Chichester FilmMakers C.I.C., with additional support received from the community and public funding in 2025.
This funding has contributed significantly towards filming the Chichester Chase Scene in 2025, and enabled substantial progress in the digital creation and construction of the larger and more complex sets required to recreate Ancient Egypt.
The remaining funds are being used to support the production of the Young Cleopatra scenes, scheduled for 24 November 2026.
Supporting the Next Stage of Production
To enable Final Truth to continue into its next phase, we are launching our 2027 Production Fund in November 2026, with an online fundraising ambition of approximately £46,000–£55,000.
This campaign forms part of a wider production fundraising strategy and will contribute towards the next stage of filming.
The funds raised will support a series of key scenes planned between March and November 2027, including:
-
Queen Cleopatra and Mark Antony 50BCE (Chichester studio)
- Carter Dispatches From The Desert (1922) (Chichester studio)
-
Southampton Docks (1923)
-
The Rome Discovery Scenes
-
London hotel interludes
-
British Museum - external
Further fundraising will support additional key location filming in Prague, London, Chichester and Portsmouth, which we aim to complete before April 2028.
Supporting Filmmaking in Our Community
Every contribution helps move Final Truth closer to completion while creating opportunities for local actors, filmmakers and production crew to gain valuable professional on-set experience.
Through this production, we are also working towards a wider ambition: establishing a sustainable film industry presence in Chichester and across the South of England.
Our goal is to help develop and sustain a community of professional and aspiring filmmakers, including apprentices, by creating opportunities to learn, collaborate and participate in professional film production.
By supporting Final Truth, you are helping us bring an ambitious independent feature film to the screen while investing in the future of filmmaking in our region.
Thank you for supporting our journey.
